Infamously documented in the 2021 movie ‘Lovaganza: La Grande Illusion’ by Sebastien Rist, Lovaganza was an ambitious Hollywood musical created by two Canadian filmmakers that combined cinema and touring spectacle with fantastic original music.
I was approached by the creators some years before trouble hit their project to produce this promotional documentary about the making of the music. It was recorded over several days at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London.
Fortunately, I had no hint of the troubles that lie ahead and so was proud to create a film that provided an insight into the creators, their partners and the fantastic music. At the time, it played a pivotal role in gaining support for the project.
