Having worked with many clients in the hospitality & events industry, I knew the devastation COVID was having on this £4 Billion industry. Facing yet another lockdown, I decided to create a documentary series about the impact of COVID on the events industry to give comfort, hope and ideas to all those affected.
I approached a range of subjects and was lucky to secure interviews with Historic Royal Palaces, a multi-million pound event group, a leading contract caterer and a luxury event specialist. As always, I thought it was important to get a really authentic insight, so I focussed my attention on the struggles, ideas and inspiration for the future. I knew at the time, this series would have resonance both in the presence and as a piece history in the future.
After creating the films, I sought an industry sponsor to help distribute the series and was lucky enough to secure a deal with The BNC who are one of the most respected network organisations in the events industry.
